Following their success at Isis and The Face, Arno Corporation has now created Momentum.
Possessing an architectural pedigree that celebrates individuality and the tapestry of styles that is the
hallmark of Australian cities, Momentum’s exterior represents a unique and distinct identity. Designed by
ARM (Ashton, Raggatt, McDougall) one of Australia’s leading architectural firms, the maze like balustrade
combines with an impressive photographic motif to offer a deep visual landscape and a sense of belonging.
Inspired by Melbourne’s rich sporting heritage, the photographic motif celebrates motion, athleticism and
life’s never ending journey; a heritage that continues to thrive in the local area, most notably at Albert Park
and the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). The optical contrast between light and dark on the
building’s façade is continued in the impressive lobby area.
This is true cutting edge contemporary style, a prime exhibit of architecture marrying art,
demonstrated throughout the building. Interior design is focused on comfort and informality with an engaging
palette of natural tones and finishes. Possessing generous east, west and northerly aspects, these light filled
apartments are designed to maximise space. Momentum is characterised by spectacular city views and
panoramic aspects towards the bay and over South Melbourne.
